Studypedia S.A.R.L. as Data Controller, wishes to inform you about what type of data we collect and through which methods, in order to guarantee respect for your rights and your fundamental freedoms, with particular reference to the confidentiality and security with which the data is processed.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Student Information

Studypedia S.A.R.L.. collects and stores your personal and identifying data (such as given name, surname, residential address, email address, courses of interest, citizenship, gender, place and date of birth, telephone number) through the following channels:

  1. a) completion of web forms:
  2. b) paper forms collected at the time of accreditation at the Marangoni Institute Open Day;
  3. c) other events organised at our Campus or at other locations.

We can ask social media channels to send information about our services and our educators partners programs based on their users’ profiles and according to their data processing policy, but we are not aware of your name.

Website

When someone visits our Website, we utilize Google Analytics, a third-party service, to gather normal internet log information and visitor behavior trends. This helps us figure out things like the amount of visits to different portions of the site. This data is only used in a manner that does not allow anybody to be identified. Our website does not gather any personally identifying information.

Justifications for and foundations for processing

If we have a contract with you, we will process Personal Information about you, including the disclosure of your Personal Information as described below, for the purposes of delivering the Services, relying on the fulfilment of our contract with you as the legal basis for processing.

Personal data will not be disseminated in any way, in addition, it may be communicated and processed by third parties duly appointed as Data Processors, such as external collaborators and companies that provide specific technical services.
Personal data may also be accessible or may be disclosed to those whose right to access your personal data is recognized by the provisions of law or secondary or EC regulatory provisions

Storage

We keep your data for 3 years from our last contact with you, unless you wish to request its deletion before then. After this deadline, it will be deleted or made anonymous for statistical reasons. In accordance with paragraph 3.1.e. Studypedia will keep recording for one year only, at the end of which time they will be deleted. in accordance with paragraph 3.2.a. your information will be held for two years, at the end of which time you will be asked once more if you wish to receive the newsletter.
